Joanna Slup
Physiotherapist, MCSP
Joanna has gained extensive experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy since graduating in 2000 in her native Poland. She specialises in treating scoliosis and problems related to spinal deformities but also treats anything related to the musculo- skeletal system.
Joanna is a certified Schroth therapist, one of only a few certified
Schroth therapist in the UK. The Schroth method is a non – surgical
scoliosis treatment.
She has also finished a 2 year specialisation ” Psychosomatic Regeneration”
which included: Reflexotherapy, Classical and Trigger point massage,
Psychological and biological regeneration, Nutrition and Exercise.
Joanna has experience working with a wide variety of spine problems
such as scoliosis, hyperkyphosis, Scheurmann’s disease and lots of different sport injuries.
She continues to attend post graduate courses to update her knowledge and skills.
She belives this is essential to provide a high quality of care for clients.
Joanna uses a variety of techniques and methods, including Hydrotherapy, in order
to achieve success and restore a patient’s function so that they may return to their
desired activity and work place.
Joanna is a passionate about sport with a special interest in cycling,
skiing and paragliding, holding a pilot licence in paragliding.
Joanna is a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with
the Health Professions Council.
Joanna works in Fulham and London Bridge
